And since the Mediterranean Sea is full of fascinating creatures with unique traits, I have more facts for you…but since humans are self-centered creatures, I am gonna give you the facts with some…intriguing treats.
Fill up your oxygen tanks, we are going deep again.

Oh, dear! There are things around you even if you cannot see them. Important things.
Like the Tardigrades, the cutest little creature. They are otherwise know as water bears.
These microscopic creatures can survive extreme conditions, including the vacuum of space, intense radiation, freezing and even boiling temperatures.
These little creatures are not just cute. They are among the toughest and most resilient life forms on Earth, and they can go without water for decades by entering a dormant state. This is a great lesson…even if someone cannot see it or recognize this in you, that doesn’ t mean that you are not a measurable force of nature, never forget that!
Your intangible powers can make you tough, visible and distinguished!

I am sure you have already heard the phrase “have eyes in the back of your head”.
Since you can never be too careful in the modern world where antagonism and the craving for a spot under the capitalistic sun is making people dangerous, it is always a good idea being careful about what happens around you.
Dangerous and careful, at the same time, is also the box jellyfish. This is not only one of the most venomous creatures in the sea, but it also has 24 eyes, arranged in clusters. Yes, you read it correctly: 24 EYES!
These eyes give it an incredible ability to navigate and avoid obstacles, even though the box jellyfish lacks a centralized brain. I am not pushing you to be venomous towards your own kind but careful.
Be careful and grow your own “back-eyes” to see in all directions to always know what is coming but also, and most importantly, try to have different point of view!
Different points of view will give you another perspective and you will be able to see the painting of your everyday life more wisely!
Now use your new eyes. Have a look around. The world and life look promising, doen’ t they?!

With these new extra eyes you will also make sure not to miss the beauty of the Mantis Shrips, one of the most colorful creatures in the world.
These psychedelicly colored sea creatures, don’ t just have a “killer- look”… they have got fists too!
In fact, they have some of the most powerful punches in the animal kingdom.
Their front limbs can strike with the speed of a bullet (up to 80 kmh or 50 mph), generating heat and light and they are even capable of cracking the aquarium glass!
So don’t be deceived by they beautiful look. Sometimes behind an alluring, charming and delightful appearance can be hidden a nasty, perilous and hazardous character.
Let’ s resurface now, to ponder on this wonder! Until our next splash, make the feeling last!
PS…and don’t forget to read part 3!!!
